The Dulwich Student Newsletter
"A conduit for student voice, the Dulwich Student Newsletter discusses and channels authentic experiences across the Dulwich network. "
Foreword
The Dulwich Voice Student Reporters is a student-led editorial that reports on
school-wide issues at Dulwich College Shanghai Pudong. Our aim is to embody
authentic student voices and encourage passionate writers to take part in
journalism but more importantly to build better connections with the student
body and our local community. Through engaging in valuable discourses - using
thoughtful research and analysis, alongside sharing personal experiences and
anecdotes - Dulwich Voice Student Reporters act as a collage of students' ideas
and voices.
Unlike other media outlets, all of Dulwich Voice Student Reporters' articles focus
on students' experiences and their say on school-wide events. The pillars
upholding the objectives of the Dulwich Voice Student Reporters are
"Awareness", "Service", and "Action". To help echo the publication's long-term
legacy, we ensure that the outstanding efforts that of our school community are
channeled across the college clearly and are told through a plethora of
perspectives, ensuring that there is a strong sense of visibility between the student
body, staff faculty, and parents.
Our gratitude is indebted to the support of Ms. Ball (Head of English in Senior
School), Ms. Derbyshire (Head of Senior School), and Lee Mack (Director of
Communications). Without them, this amazing journalism team would not have
made such profound influences on our school community and beyond.
