Two weeks ago, the Dulwich Volley Ball Girls and Boys D1 and D2 Teams played an exciting volleyball match with their coaches and other staff members - a friendly competition that the team players and the school have been waiting to see and experience. The match was a fun way to end the 2022 ACAMIS volleyball season, for which the volleyball teams had trained tirelessly throughout. This was a final opportunity for them to showcase their outstanding volleyball talents and skills to the student body and the staff faculty members.
Building upon the inclusivity of Dulwich Sports, there were both experienced volleyball players - staff members part of the PE department - and inexperienced volleyball players - teaching staff members who were previously unexposed to the sport. These valuable experiences allowed them to step outside of their own comfort zones, whether that be interacting with staff members they rarely interact with or trying out something new. Additionally, they may have used the time to increase their fitness level or do something active on a Tuesday afternoon. Through such an engaging game, students and staff members were
able to connect and form unconventional team-building cooperation, deeply resonating with our theme 'Deturs Pon Mundo'. It also allowed the Year 13 students to play a final proper volleyball game with their coaches, as they will depart by April or May next year. It will be great
to see more games like this occur in the future as it elevates the Dulwich spirit that we all dearly embody within ourselves.

"As a game participant, I think playing with the teachers was so much fun and takes stress away from my academic work at school. It was also very stress relieving in a way that
there wasn't any significant competition between us." Mia Y Yr 12
